Another new beginning...step of faith.

Greetings friends and family:

August 14th I will be relocating to Kansas City, MO. from Muncie, IN.

It will have been a total of 3 years 3 months and 14 days I have enjoyed being planted in

east central Indiana again. Saying good bye to everyone there has been painful and

near impossible. I am finding what happens when one you choose to put down your roots

in a community and then leave... its like trying to pull up a youthful tree. It's painful but sometimes necessary

like a grown sappling at a tree nursery being transplanted.

I will be relocating to the www.IHOP.org community. My initial 4.5 months (till end of 2007) will

be in the classroom and 24/7 prayer room being immersed in all that IHOP lives for (Intimacy with Jesus, prayer,

fasting and the return of Christ). During then I'll be waiting upon the Lord for a further revelation

of what my next steps are. This choice also includes a woman in my life, a dear friend who I am

courting and who is waiting for me in the KC area, is involved at IHOP, and a full-time missionary (Cristina Maas).

People ask why I am making this move. It's hard to always give an answer that makes earthly

sense. As one friend puts it, "I am running hard after God". There is nothing more in my life that

grants me pleasure than living the adventure Jesus calls us to, to be walking in all that I am

created for, and to be worshipping the Father in His presence.

So thank you all for your prayers, love, and support... Please note my detail below:

My new address will be 4300 Grandview Rd. Kansas City, MO. 64137

Here's a link in Google Maps: http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msa=0&msid=110651350752259402316.0004357ac328fd7705707&ie=UTF8&z=19&om=1

My e-mail will remain the same, and my cell phone will change within a couple weeks.

I am trusting my Jesus month to month financially... Its a time of testing.... I am using my spare time pouring into relationships and work with Citywide Church in town. Its a blast and can be very busy... God's so wonderful.. I truly feel He's giving me my dreams by stepping deeper into Citywide church and who knows what next.

Hanged out with the Gramps and extend Smith fam last weekend in the St. Louis area...

Finally, got the stuff and plan on putting the chain link fence in for the Booker... He'll be a much happier pup..

Oh, and I am finally get in gear to study and apply for the CPA exam... this will be hurdle and something to trust the Lord over...

Drop me a line gang ...

All Done...

Hiya guys, it feels so good... I officially polished off my master's degree. What a blessing! The Lord has given me so much favor in the account dept. having gotten a grad. assistantship, finishing this degree in about 14 months, and as I step away they have given a short teaching assignment because a new prof. is giving birth during when classes start... Unbelievable. My God rocks!

Also I am in the mist of waiting on job potential offers. I've been seeking Him on provision and I should hear back from one possible offer next Friday (which I would love to have). I also being compensated for the short teaching thingy. Then there's the couple small businesses that a couple days ago sought me and need help. Oh, I also got another roomie... So incredible...

We'll the Lord provided Proverbs 19:21 which says many plans are in a man's heart, but the Lord's counsel - that will stand... So I have relied and hoped in His counsel... b/c I am a planning man...

Peace,

Chris

I am not a bumper sticker virgin anymore...

Ok... so it may be a little crude. But I tell you... having them on my car feels like I've done something way wild or wrong. Like everyone notices it when I drive... Ok.. So I am a little sensitive ..may be paranoid when I am driving ... but you'll see why in a second.

So I always wanted a bumper stick that would speak me and also speak thought provoking mindness into to folk as they are driving... but hopefully not rage or the such...

Being at Cornerstone Festival almost 10 days ago... I ended up getting three... not just one but three bumper sticks... Ha! their sticks at such a festival are all controversial and you could provoke some thoughts alright ... So I got my three and was content... I know you are dying to know what I plaster on my car... Actually I am going to make you wait a little longer...

because before I could actually put them on I had to wash and then actually wax this Geo Metro of mine... baby blue and rusting slighty... yeah I am going to run this gift from God, gas effecient hunk of metal into the ground which gave me pleasure and permission to think I could buy these over priced pieces of what?... you may say... yes, thought provoking propaganda... its wonderful! I am getting my message across every time I putt putt down good ole McGalliard. Ok so I guess I'll share what I decided to plaster my trunk with...actually it was a hard decision to know where to place these dang suckers... oh I guess they are stickers.... not the window since it does not get the right angle for perfect viewing and the bumper is too low to the ground... yup my trunk... so should I call them trunker stickers.... oh, well... here's what you have be laborously waiting all your life for... thought provoking trunker stickers of mine...

The first one reads ....... "God is not a Republican or a Democrat"

The second one reads.... "You are important"

And the third one is the word "Religion" with a circle and line through it and then below it it reads Embrace Jesus.

Yes, I know... I know... But you can't imagine how many curious people have been tailgating since I place them on last Friday!

No more innocence here...Ha!
